In Porta Venezia there is a venue that chose the color of purity par excellence, it’s the Bar Blanco, inspired to the renowned Bar Blanco in Formentera, now a trendy club in Milan.
Every detail of furniture shows the attention of the owners to a unique style: both the tables inside and those located in the big courtyard (open in spring and summer) are strictly white, as well as the large floral panels.
The Blanco isn’t only a landmark of the Milanese nightlife, is also open during the day, so you can have breakfast, eat a tasty lunch, enjoy the aperitif and after-dinner drinks.
The Bar Blanco overlooks piazzale Lavater, a historic square that people in Milan like a lot and that resembles a French city.
If you are going to take a walk, we recommend going to the beautiful public gardens Indro Montanelli, a few steps away from the bar, a green oasis away from the city traffic.
The evenings are always lively at Bar Blanco, the events usually start at 8 pm with the DJ sets well combined with the cocktails prepared by the bartender.
On Thursdays and Fridays are scheduled the gay-friendly events “Diskopolitan” and “Discoheaven”.
If you want to sip an aperitif, the best time to go to Bar Blanco is from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, the formula includes a rich buffet and a dish at your choice.
The menu at Blanco is delicious: the sandwiches ranging from more traditional Club Sandwich to London Sandwich with roast beef and mustard seeds, or vegetarian sandwich and sandwiches inspired to Formentera Bar Blanco menus.
Alternatively you can taste the salads that are named after the beaches of Formentera or a cold platter. If you prefer to eat only one dish, we suggest the “Platos solo”, named after white, yellow and blue colors.
At Blanco music plays an essential ingredient and the DJs at the console ranging between many musical genres. Chemical Sisters play contemporary pop and 80s-90s hits, Bianca Tabaton plays r & b, reggae and disco music, Lorenzo B is a fan of house music, Luca Beni from Radio 101 plays deep house, Dj 747 is an unpredictable selecter, because his sets ranging from electro, to the Ibizan-style house music, from indie rock to unknown Italian goodies.
