The concept stores are spread up quickly in Italy and especially in Milan. We already recommended 5 concept stores in Milan on our blog. These are flagship stores with cafes or restaurants. A new way of experience shopping that began to take hold in main European capitals.
One of the most innovative concept stores in Milan is surely Casa Dondup. The Marche-based company, founded by Massimo Berloni and Manuela Mariotti, has begun its activities focusing on jeans and then developing a new male and female look and then launching also a child line. But overall Dondup became in short time a reference point for those who love denim and more.

In 2012, where once there was an old car-repair shop in Porta Venezia, Dondup opened Casa Dondup. It’s not just its first concept store in Milan but it is also the first flagship store in the city.
This store is entirely designed by Manuela Mariotti, is 400 square meters large and includes a bar and a restaurant. The store is divided on two levels; the first is devoted to the brand Dondup, where you can find the best of man’s clothing, as well for the woman collection; silk and cotton suits, leather jackets, t-shirts, skirts and more.
You can also find Dondup all denim products including their unique-high level jeans. The store is also conceived as a “showcase” for other designers and brands; there are spaces dedicated to the Bruno Acampora’s scent line or to the sunglasses collection designed by Italian Independent created by Lapo Elkann.

But the brands hosted by the store are many. Then there is a small coffee shop that welcomes the customer and it makes a very friendly environment.
The upper floor is dedicated to the restaurant, with a kitchen that serves traditional Italian dishes prepared with high quality products. The wine list is very good, with a good range that shows a certain sophistication and attention. In short, Casa Dondup allows you to discover the world Dondup’s world not through the usual point of sales, but in unusual and surprising way.
