The winter edition of Milano Moda Uomo fashion week, officially began on Saturday 17th January is just ended, this post is a report of the new collections presented during the event.
The Milan Fashion Week was anticipated by Dsquared2 fashion show, held on 16th January, a party-show at Hangar Bicocca organized to celebrate the 20 years of the brand together with 2000 guests including Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige.
The 40 fashion shows and 36 presentations that took place in different venues launched the next trends in men’s fashion 2015/2016 season: on catwalk the protagonist was an urban man who leaves the excess and focuses on sought-after and refined garments.
Man comebacks to elegance even for the more informal occasions, such as a real gentleman.
Alongside this trend appearing skin and fur, undisputed protagonists of the wardrobe for next winter, furthermore the line between male and female style seems to be increasingly blurred, as shown by the clothes with details like bows and laces.
The fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has dedicated its fashion show to the family by focusing the spotlight on the origins of the designers: on some garments are printed images of a very large group of people that is reminiscent of a typical Italian family of the past.
These black and white printed silk blouses are a declaration of love for their loved ones and are suitable to wear on bomber wool paired with pants, serafino shirt and boots made of rubber and fur.
Simplicity and accuracy distinguished the style of Emporio Armani on catwalk, where models wear a Giorgio Armani classic garment, the jacket: this has a shawl collar, cuffs and the edge at the bottom like those of the bomber and is combined with the pants, the same shade of blue to create a new contemporary style.
Gucci collection was certainly one of the most disputed fashion shows of this edition, because the maison chose a fleeing romanticism, due to the men not easily distinguishable by the women.
Slim suits, small blazers paired with pants, military cloaks and coats, t-shirt with lace and feminine blouses sleeveless, collared with ribbon and bow in pure bohemian style.
Dsquared2 presented a wide range of leather and fur garments, especially oversized hats, embroidered caps and fur hats.
In the opinion of the designers who joined Milan Fashion Week, the ideal wardrobe for next winter should include the following clothes:
– A velvet garment: smooth or ribbed velvet, it will be the upcoming trend and is recommended during the colder months.
– A long coat, enveloping and oversized
– A camel colored trench coat or a sweater, this nuance will be fashionable on the next winter
– A bow-tie
– A jacket elegant yet versatile, fit to be used for multiple occasions
